Fruit from the same specially selected patch of Steinborner & Reynolds Vine Vale vineyards is harvested each year to make this wine. After crushing and fermenting on site, the wine is barrel aged for two years in a blend of French and American Oak.Black Cherries are apparent on the nose, backed up on the palate by cassis and spice laden chocolate. The Barossa Deutsche Cabernet I full bodied, but elegant and smooth by design. Colour: Very deep red garnet Aroma: Black cherries Taste: Cassis, spice laden chocolate and fine grainy tannins Food: Try with spiced lamb Cellaring: Drinking well now but careful cellaring will be rewarded. Closure: Grade 1 cork
