 Blend - 60% Cabernet Sauvignon – 30%Merlot – 5% Cabernet Franc - 5% Petit Verdot

THE HISTORY
Charles de Montesquieu was the owner of Château St Ahon in the XVIIIth
century, and was at that time classified as « Remarkable monument ».
After being destroyed during the French Revolution, it will be rebuilt
during the 1st Empire, then restored in 1875. Château Saint Ahon is now
one of the last wine producing property in the village of Blanquefort. In
1985, the Earl and Countess de Colbert, direct descendants of the
finance ministry of Louis XIV, became the 67th owners of Château Saint
Ahon and its vineyard. The Château covers 40 hectares on which 30 are
planted of vines. In 2003, Nicolas and Françoise Chodron de Courcel,
their son in law and daughter, chose to leave Paris to Saint Ahon. Their
goal is to redesign the future of this family estate, In addition to
viticultural choices, like the engagement in the sustainable approach in
the vines, investments have been also done on the oenotourism side
